I just saw a place I loved, how do I find out who designed it?

Just ASK!!! Most people will gladly refer you to their designer, especially if the relationship was a good one.  Remember, the best advertising is “word of mouth” …

How much will it cost to consult a designer for the first time?

All designers have their own methods.  I offer and initial consultation at no charge.  This generally takes about one hour and is usually at the client’s residence or business.  At this time, we discuss what the client is interested in having done, what they want me to do, and whether we want to work together.  This is also an opportunity to discuss fees, budget, etc.  After this consultation, I submit a proposal at a specified time, usually about a week to 10 days.
